The Sandals in the Shipyards

Going through the Archives recently I came across this photo of the Sandals I was wearing at the time I was documenting the workers in the Alang Shipbreaking yards. I obviously never read that article about wearing the appropriate footwear out in the field. As you can imagine the sandals lasted about 5minutes in the thick mud and it was bare feet from then on.If you want to see more on the shipbreaking yards see below.
